Alcantar, Maria G.

Maria Guadalupe Alcantar entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at the age of 72. She was born November 28, 1949 to Jose Telesforo and Angelica (Flores) Rivera in Fresnio, Zacatecas, MX.

On April 4, 1971 she married Ruben Alcantar at the 5a Iglesia Apostolica de la Fe en Cristo Jesus and began a legacy of faith and family. In 1980 the couple relocated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, then to Green Bay, WI in 1992, and has resided in Denver, Colorado serving God as Pastors and ministers.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ruben Alcantar; their six children Ruben Jr (Becky), Ezequiel (Lourdes), Irma Ruth (Daniel), Eleazar (Karen), Asael (Veronica), and Elias (Mayra) and her beloved grandchildren Daniel James, Risa, Jonathan, Rachel, Aracely, David, Belen, Samara, Mia, Zoe, Sparrow, Abigail and Emy. Siblings: Juana Gallegos, Maria (Samuel) Hernandez and Jose Sylvestre (Irma) Rivera, in laws Leticia (Juan Manuel) Rivera, Pablo (Manuela) Montoya and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Juan Telesforo, mother, Angelica, Sister Manuela, and Brother Juan Manuel.

Visitation will be held 10a – 11a, Service 11a - 12p. Friday, June 17, 2022 at Primera Iglesia Apostolica, 3001 S 6th Street, Milwaukee, WI . Burial will follow at Forest Home Cemetery at 12:30p. In lieu of flowers, memorials accepted.
