Alvin Garza

Alvin Garza, a man of creativity and passion, gently returned to his heavenly home on Thursday November 23, 2023. Born on January 21, 1940, in the vibrant city of San Antonio, TX, Alvin exchanged the earthly realm for the celestial one from his home in Milwaukee, WI. He was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life, and he leaves behind a legacy of love, artistry, and a gentle spirit. Alvin was the cherished son of Pauleta and Albino Garza, both of whom predeceased him. He was the loving brother to the late Richard,  Ernest, late Sylvia (David) Valdez , Manuel (Angie), Mary (Paul) Prentice, John (Norma) and Connie (Santos) Paniagua. Beloved father to Lori Gruber, Ernest ( Penny)Garza, Denise(late Felipe) Ferreira , and Michael Garza. Alvin was the proud grandfather of Angela (Drew), Kelli, Isabela (Vidal), and Jacob Garza, and the adoring great-grandfather of Ethan, Lainey, Alex, and Viviana.  Alvin was a man of many talents, but his passion lay in the arts. He was a gifted Graphic Artist and Art Designer. Beyond his work, Alvin was an ardent lover of photography, drawing, and painting. He found peace in the act of creation, whether it was a stunning photograph, a delicate drawing, or a beautiful painting. His works were a testament to his creativity and his passion.

Alvin was a gentle soul, a man who found beauty in the world around him and sought to share it with others.
