Christine “Tina” Galvan, 82, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin passed away suddenly at home on September 1, 2025 with her loving son Vincent by her side.
She was born in 1943 to Marcos and Maria (Espitia) Galvan. She attended Walter Allen Elementary School and South Division High School. She worked in factories all her life, but her last job working at Quintron Instrument Co, she loved so much that she continued working part-time into her 70’s.
She is survived by her only son, Vincent. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, who made her proud by growing up into the fine men and women they are today. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcos and Mary Galvan. Along with her brothers Dave, Bob and Tony Galvan and also sisters Rita Galvan and Linda (Galvan) Chavez.
Tina had a great sense of humor, she was able to crack a joke and take a joke too. Her favorite thing besides family get togethers was fashion and accessorizing her outfits and she especially looked forward to her yearly trip to Las Vegas.
She will be deeply missed, but heaven gained an angel.
A visitation will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025 from 10AM to 12PM with a Service at Noon at Witkowiak Funeral Home 529 W. Historic Mitchell Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A procession to Mt. Olivet Cemetery will follow the Service.
