Jessica Nienas

March 23, 1943 — April 14, 2024

Jessica Louise Nienas of West Allis, WI passed away Sunday April 14, 2024 at the age of 81 after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her father, John Nienas, her mother, Minerva (Olson), and her brother Allan Nienas. She is survived by other relatives and friends.

Jessica graduated from Pulaski High School in June of 1960. She attended Michigan State University, the University of Wisconsin Madison, and the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. She graduated with a degree in Social Welfare. Jessica served the State of Wisconsin as a social worker for 30 years.

Jessica enjoyed gardening, French cooking, and dining out with friends. She was also an avid downhill skier. Her most treasured companions were her 3 cats, Sutu, Hershey and Sammy. Jessica was a volunteer at Planned Parenthood and an avid supporter of the Wisconsin Humane Society and the local Milwaukee PBS (Public Broadcasting Station).

A million thanks to the staff at Aurora St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee. At Jessica’s request no service will be held.
