Jill M Blenski

It is with heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of Jill M Blenski (nee Poplawski); age 71. Jill is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Barry; and their children Angela (Scott) Marshall and Peter (Abby Armour). Loving Grandma of Elyse (”Ellie”) and Alex Marshall. Sister of Ellen Poplawski (Geoff Blankenmeyer) and Cindy (Pete) Chirafisi. Further survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, a great nephew, former co-workers and friends.

Jill was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Dolores Poplawski and many aunts and uncles.

Jill worked as a public servant for the City of Muskego for many years. She was a longtime member and supporter of St Leonard’s Catholic Church in Muskego.

She loved “Golden Girls” and HGTV. She enjoyed decorating her and Barry’s home, often with treasures found on shopping trips.

Whenever Jill got together with you, she presented you with a gift or treated you to a meal.

That generosity was returned with many hours of visiting Jill, chatting and/or praying with her in her final weeks.

She died surrounded by family and friends; and will be missed dearly.

Visitation at St Leonard’s Catholic Church, W173S7743 Westwood Drive, Muskego WI on Friday, October 23 from 10:00 am -11:00 am.

Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am.

Inurnment is in the St. Leonard's Columbarium.

Jill’s family is forever grateful to the caring staff at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, Azura Memory Care and Assisted Living and Azura Palliative Care and Hospice.

In addition, the family would like to personally thank Georjean and Bob Zilles, Sharon Rospenda and Betty Beay for their support in Jill's final weeks.
