Jimmie Valdez Anzualda passed away on March 18, 2026.
Jimmie was born on March 28, 1961 in Racine, Wisconsin, was raised in Texas, and later grew and built his life in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As the oldest of his siblings, he carried that role with strength, love, and a deep sense of responsibility, family always came first to him. Jimmie lived his life guided by strong values and a caring heart.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his mother, Minerva Valdez (Gonzalez), and his brothers, Jacinto Anzualda and Antonio Valdez. After the passing of his brother, Jimmie stepped up in a powerful way, playing a major role in the lives of his brother’s children, offering guidance, support, and love that made a lasting impact.
He is survived by his sisters, Alicia Alvarez, Irma Valdez, Esmeralda Alonzo (brother-in-law Ricky Reeves Sr.), Lisa Valdez Galan Colunga, and Christina Anzualda; his companion, Sylvia Ann Chairez; along with many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews who will forever cherish his presence in their lives.
Jimmie was known for being loving and caring to both family and friends. He enjoyed dancing Rancheras and spending time with loved ones. He also had a passion for playing chess and even created his own board game, showing his creativity and unique spirit.
With family in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Texas, Jimmie’s love and influence reached across generations and distance.
He will be remembered for his strength, his kindness, and the way he showed up for those who needed him most.
He will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
