Mark C Scerpella

Mark, taken from us too soon on November 16, 2023 and is now with our beloved parents Patricia and Jaime as well as brother Jim. 

Born December 6, 1963 in Detroit Michigan. He was welcomed into the Scerpella family and was the first brother born on US soil. He is preceded in death by parents Jaime and Patricia and big brother Jim (Rebecca) He will be missed greatly by his brothers Dan (Jill), Patrick (Tammy), Matthew (Mandy) and by his nieces and nephews, Michael (Danielle), Caitlin (Danny) CJ (Bri), Marina, Isabel, Danny (Jess), Jamey, John, (Sofia), Will, Colleen, Patrick, Madalaine, and Niklaus. The youngest generation of Scerpellas, Declan, Avery, Hurley, Jackson, Olive, will come to know Mark through the fond remembrances of their parents. He will also be missed by loving family on the East Coast and in Lima Peru. 

Mark was a gentle soul with a mischievous wit. He was a lifelong artist having produced drawings for several publications including the UWM Times and he leaves a large collection of drawings. He loved the things of his youth, cartoons, schlocky horror films, kitschy Americana like House on the Rock and maybe above all, Disneyworld. He was an astute consumer and critic of films.

He will be sorely missed by his friends and family.  Until we meet again Marko, rest well dear brother.
