It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Robert A. Marmolejo on October 20th, 2025, at his home in Waterford, Wisconsin. Robert was born in Milwaukee on December 6th, 1940 to Manuel and Catalina Marmolejo. He met the love of his life Lillie Tyloch “Tootsie” at the age of 14 and married her in 1961. Their favorite song has always been Blueberry Hill by Fats Domino and they danced to it any chance they could. Robert was the proud father of his five daughters Mary, Julie, Lillie, Roberta and Lola. He worked for Roller Fabrics for 45 years where he began work in his late teens and hardly missed a day. His goal was to provide for his family of seven who never went without which we are so grateful for. Robert enjoyed being with his family, traveling and watching sports. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren meant the world to him and he was very loved by them all.
Robert is survived by his wife Lillie and his daughters Mary (Art Espinoza) Julie Marmolejo, Lillie Marmolejo, Roberta (Tom Meyer) Lola Marmolejo and many grand and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Manuel Marmolejo and Mother Catalina, brothers Rudolfo Marmolejo, Ricardo Marmolejo, Manuel Marmolejo, jr. and sister Catalina Lopez.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday October 28, 2025 at Witkowiak Funeral Home, 529 W. Historic Mitchell Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin beginning at 11 AM until the time of service at 1 PM, followed by a procession to Arlington Park Cemetery.
