Santiago, Gloria

Gloria passed away peacefully in her home on May 29, 2022. She was born to life on June 11,1961 to Ramon and Mercedes Rivas in Milwaukee, WI. Gloria is survived by the love her life, her husband, Evonne Santiago. She was a devoted mother to Gloria Marie Rivas-Santiago, Yvette (Daryl) Chojnacki, Evon Santiago Jr., and Justina (Andrew) Santiago-Garcia. She enjoyed being a loving Leta (Grandmother) to Lilly Ann Chojnacki, Mya Jayde A. Santiago, and Brooklyn Madiana Santiago-Garcia. She was caring Godmother to Jesus Garcia. She is also survived by her 5 sisters and 2 brothers, Ramona, Aida, Carmen, Maria, Juanita, Ramon Jr., and Jose.

She was the life of the party. She lived her life the way she wanted and never took a day for granted. Gloria had always beaten the odds. Whatever was thrown her way, she faced it head on, and nothing would stop her. She was the kind of person that if you needed help, she would do whatever she could do to help you no matter the time of day, without judgement. She always gave unconditional love. Our Matriarch is at peace and reunited with her daughter. May they keep dancing in the sky. Until we meet again, we love you.

Visitation to be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (605 S 4th St, Milwaukee, WI 53204) at 10:30am, with Mass to follow at 12:00pm.
