Skenandore, Leonard

Passed away on March 15, 2022 at the age of 60. Dear son of the late Jane and Donald Skenandore. He is survived by his brothers and sisters: Suzanne Kopac, Darlene Holton, Donald Skenandore Jr., Calvin Skenandore Sr., LeRoy Skenandore, Tori Rosales, Jean Graichen, Florance Barnes, Jo Anne Thundercloud, and Christine L. Torres. Also survived by his only loving daughter, Shardae Bheda. Leonard is further survived by many nieces, nephews, family members, friends, and a very special friend, Andre Groce.

Leonard was a recognized member of the Oneida Nation Tribe. He was very free spirited and loved to enjoy tribal events and cultural activities. He loved everything and everyone, and he tried his best to be there for family and friends. Leonard was always full of laughter and a dear companion to everyone. He loved his animals very much. Some people knew and referred to him as the “Dog Whisperer,” and his favorite animal’s name was Sugar. Leonard was also quite handy with odd jobs, as he was an all around handyman. Leonard loved being outdoors and enjoyed taking in all that nature had to offer. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

ervices will be held Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Witkowiak Funeral Home, with the visitation starting at 11am and a service at 1pm. There will be a reception to follow at the Congregation of the Great Spirit at 2pm (1000 W Lapham Blvd, Milwaukee, WI 53204.)
