Tammi Carter-Budelier

Tammi Carter-Budelier, 65, died on April 20, 2024. Tammi was born on February 19, 1959 to Russell and Irene Budelier, of Rock Island, Illinois. She lived most of her adult life in Milwaukee before she moved to Gulfport, Florida for a couple of years and returned to Milwaukee for the last two years of her life. She worked for Briggs & Stratton and Harley Davidson for many years before retiring in 2015.

Tammi was very dedicated to family and friends and opened up her home to anyone that needed help or just a place to stay. She cared for  her mother, Irene Carter for the last 6 months of her life while suffering from cancer. Her father,  Lester Carter, joined Irene at Tammi’s and continued to stay with her while recovering from two hip operations.

She also traveled extensively to Mexico, Peru, the Philippines, Thailand and other exotic locales.

Tammi is survived by 5 brothers and sisters, Francis “Kipper” Budelier, Blair (Peanporn) Budelier, Duane (Jacalyn) Budelier, Sally (Paul) Woyak, Lester “Lee” lll (Judy) Carter, and many nephews and nieces including Sara Connerat, Erica Carter, Samantha Talsky, Andrew Talsky, Jennifer Talsky, Mara Carter, Sydney Budelier, Allison Carter, Alissa Budelier, James Budelier, Chanin Budelier, Allen Carter as well as many treasured friends.

She has requested her family and friends to continue to celebrate each other and has promised to be an angel watching over them.

A cremation followed by inurnment in St. Adalbert Cemetery is being planned.  

Please join family and friends for the Celebration of Life of Tammi Carter-Budelier at LaFollette Park, 9418 W. Washington St., West Allis on Sunday, April 28th from 2pm to 6pm in the indoor pavilion. Please bring any videos or pictures of Tammi which you may want to share.
