James N. Witkowiak
Owner/Funeral Director
Jim is a second generation funeral director. His father, Norbert, established the Witkowiak Funeral Home on 5th and Mitchell Street in Milwaukee in 1949. Jim is also owner of Brett Funeral Home and has operated it since 2005. He is a graduate of the Worsham College of Mortuary Science and holds a degree in engineering.
He is a former member of the City of Milwaukee Common Council representing Milwaukee’s 12th Aldermanic District, a founder of God Touch Milwaukee, part of the Milwaukee Neighborhood Improvement Development Corporation and the United States Selective Service. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.
